Four Seasons Acupuncture is hosting an open house with food by Chef Neville Forsythe and hand painted silk artwork by local artist Traci Batchelor.
To celebrate the opening of their new location, licensed acupuncturists Terry Jeanne and Susan Mosley are hosting an open house Friday September 12, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m., and Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
In correlation with that weekend’s Gallery Hop, the new location will host the work of silk painter Traci Batchelor, and serve hors dourves prepared by renowned local Chef Neville Forsythe.
The new clinic is located at 6237 Vance Road, Suite 4, in the Nutrition World Wellness Complex. It has more than doubled in size, with five private treatment rooms, one of which is wheelchair-accessible, and a semi-private treatment area.
“It’s great being a part of the Nutrition World complex,” says Jeanne. “We really have a great opportunity to educate the public so that acupuncture isn’t so terribly underutilized. Many people don’t understand that acupuncture creates a state of homeostasis in the body, which is an extremely powerful facilitator in health and recovery.”
The clinic has also added the services of Dorothea Johnson, licensed aesthetician. Johnson became Tennessee State Board Certified Licensed Aesthetician in January 2005 and is certified in Obagi, Image and CA Botana Skin Care Lines, Cutera Laser and Lympathic Drainage.
Susan Mosley, LAc., obtained her Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine in California. The NCCAOM recognizes her as a Certified Chinese Herbologist, and she has had great success in assisting clients with in vitro fertilization through acupuncture treatment.
Terry Jeanne, LAc., is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She is titled as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She obtained her Master’s Degree from the Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, NM, and practiced at HealthSouth Rehab Hospital in Albuquerque.
