Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park opened May 10, 2008 with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Followed by four sold out Eagles shows on May 14, 16, 17, & 20. The 12,000 seat state-of-the-art venue is located in the northern suburbs of Atlanta and is only minutes from 400 and North Point Mall in Alpharetta, Georgia. The amphitheatre’s 2008 season is hosting diverse events including concerts, community events and movie nights. Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre is also proud to be the outdoor home to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
